I guess the answer is no... too bad
Call or visit the restaurant in person. Google map input is from customers & others who may not be associated with the business. There are lots of restaurants in Nevada City; polish up your resume and go talk to owners & managers. Good luck!
Eclectic Cajun decor gives this place a cool laid back vibe. Lots of interesting food options that cater to a variety of eating restrictions. I had the Morning Mojo which was grits, egg and ginger sauteed greens. Toast options include corn bread which I highly recommend! My kiddo got the French toast which she devoured.Neat atmosphere, friendly wait staff and delicious food! Note: this place is cash only. Most breakfast plates range from $10-17.
Absolutely AMAZING menu!! You MUST eat here. . .never been disappointed. . . Eat here at least once a month! (Check their hours, as they are limited)
The food was good, there were plenty of choices and choices for people with any dietary restrictions. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside is they only take cash.
Wonderful spot for a quiet, delicious lunch. Service was quick and attentive. Patio dining provides a lovely backdrop. Cajun-Creole offerings were perfectly seasoned: spicy and unique without being overpowering. We will put Ike's on our short list of places to visit again. One note: they do not accept cards - only cash or local checks - but it is well worth bringing $.
Food and service always exceed expectations. AND THE COFFEE IS GOOD! I love the menu, authentic NOLA stylings, deco, and flair... good times. The patio is amazing this time of year, but we just walked in and were seated inside with no wait. This restaurant, above all others in the area, is a “don’t miss†option. Seriously - make your plans around breakfast here. Perfect start
This restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a proper meal, this is the place that comes first to my head. splendid and diverse food and a rich menu.courteous team, and great mood. In addition to that, the bill is affordable. I praise this spot with no doubt.
Best service and food. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend. One of the best resteraunts in Northern California Gluten Free Vegan French toast and cornbread
Cute little cafe with New Orleans decor and a decent menu. Vegan/vegetarian options available for food plus dairy alternatives for coffee. I ordered a Greens Boat and modified slightly to make it vegan -- it was packed with flavor and so good. Very attentive staff who kept our cups of coffee full! If you're in town, definitely make a stop in. Note: they only accept cash or check.
Man, Ikes is one of the best mom&pop restaurants I have been to in a long time. There charm of Louisiana and Cajun style food is not something you find often. There food is amazing, I can honestly say every dish I have had there was full of flavor and great portions. Hospitality matches the ambiance. Heads up, they only take cash or check so come prepared.
A nod to southern fare—the food and coffee are good and they have alternative milks and vegan options. For breakfast I added 2 poached eggs to the red beans and rice that comes with collard greens and cornbread. (Pancakes or biscuits and gravy are also good.)Note: they only take cash; it’s a small, homey place with limited seating, so go early or be prepared to wait for a table (especially on the weekend).
Delicious food but can't accommodate groups larger than 5-6. Our group of 11 had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated apart at 3 different tables 10 minutes apart to "accommodate the kitchen staff". Pricey, only accepts cash or local checks.
We so enjoyed our lunch here! We got the Creole Ruby sandwich and BBQ Burger with Cajun fries. The Ruby was incredible and the bbq sauce on the burger was so unique and delicious. The fries were amazing as well. It’s a small place with fun decor and great service. Very glad we stopped here. Hit the ATM and eat at Ike’s!
Southern comfort food! Wonderful little restaurant. We were glad to find this on our road trip, and will go again if were ever in the area. This place has a very bohemian atmosphere, and the food was excellent. I posted our meals, which were the Laughing Chicken, Shrimp Po Boy. Our nephew got the strawberries and cream waffles. All of it was high-quality.
Ikes is a staple of our local community and his passion for locally sourced quality ingredients shows in the amazing food they serve .
Great fun place..cirn bread is excellent
I love that place I've been going since I was a baby and I still go there every time am in town.
Delicious food from the Creole traditions. Beautiful cherry tree in the spring. Long waits year round.
This little gem hidden away in Nevada City has the best breakfast I have ever had. When you arrive, go ahead and put yourself on the wait list and take a seat, it's a small restaurant with a small kitchen, but WORTH THE WAIT!!! It has an awesome New Orleans vibe and amazing Cajun food. They make everything from scratch, including the bread! They have an awesome menu with a large selection. The food will make you feel like you died and are in heaven, especially the pancakes (which you can get a la carte) and potato boats.
Excellent selection, actually fairly difficult to decide what to get - you'll definitely need more than one trip (or a group!) to try everything you'll want.I ordered the Lavender Fog tea (which was both delicious and huge) and the oyster eggs Benedict - they were so flavorful and filling, and a little spicy.Highly recommend, will be back. 🤘
Great food! Sat outside on the patio which is very charming and it was a little chilly but so worth it.
It has been a while since I've been to New Orleans, but this place (especially the dishes with fried oysters) brought back some nice memories. Hearty meals with a nice spice to them! Service was fast and friendly, though we were there on a rainy Sunday and it was probably less busy than it might be on a clear day. Fun atmosphere with plenty to wonder at. Big menu with a bunch of great options. Oh, and chicory coffee (which is half chicory and half regular) which was a nice treat.
Favorite restaurant in the area. Hands down. Amazing vegan options, and always so yummy!
